Daily assessments of
children, not to be in depth assessments; however, being aware of children's
mental status, physical status, etc

Head to toe assessments
of children to be performed every Monday. These will be completed by H4L RN in the
presence of the LPN. This is a full assessment including weight, height and
vital signs. Assessments to be charted and sent to Nursing Manager. Any
abnormal findings must be documented in detail with supporting evidence. All
abnormal findings must be reported to the nurse manager ASAP! Other
documentation and assessment WNL must be submitted no later than Tuesday at

Assist with staff
illness or any health concerns that may arise, within the LPN scope of practice

Administer medications
as needed
●
Collaborate with the
house mother and cook regarding proper nutrition for children.
●
Educate children with
provided health curriculum for 30 minutes twice a week. Lead children in
physical activities on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday for a period of time to
be no less than 60 minutes
●
Must be willing to stay
at compound if necessary. Will be able to stay overnight when working to save
on travel expenses. Must be available for emergency phone calls
●
LPN schedule will
consist of three, 8 hour days. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. LPN will be on call other days when the RN nurse is unavailable. Sleeping place is available at the compound when working consecutive days. Good benefits for the right nurse.
Physical Requirements
Candidate must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Must
be able to withstand working in the heat. Must be able to perform 60 minutes of
physical activity at least three times per week.
